Hi, friends! My name is Kandice. I'm a wife to my best friend, doting dog mom, and Mississippi-based small business owner.
I started my crafting journey making tumblers in 2022 (as 601 Sips) as a way to cope after an extremely difficult few months in my life. After developing an allergy to epoxy, I transitioned my business to freshies and freshie supplies as Made by Maelu, LLC. I have loved every step of this journey in the freshie community!
Why Made by Maelu? "Maelu" comes from my dogs' names, of course! Daisy Mae, affectionately known as "my Bitty", sadly crossed the rainbow bridge at the start of this journey. Desilu is my 3-year-old goldendoodle and truly my bestie!
